Dude a blue shell wtf!!

As a family man getting time to just sit uninterrupted to write is rare so definitely golden time, thankfully i have that right at this moment, coffee is brewed and poured, dog is crashed out next to me on the sofa, laptop out, hell there's football/soccer back on the TV why not, i am taking full advantage of this because who knows when i will get access to this sort of zen again, not a got anytime soon would be the answer. I hope anyone who read our last piece on the ranking of GTA titles enjoyed, it seemed to make some waves over on instagram accumulating a good amount of likes 450 roughly, i would strongly recommend using the instagram promotion tool to any bloggers trying to grow a brand or channel. I have also set up the ragequitretro facebook page but am having some issues creating a link button, I think facebook has found something offensive (possibly the word rage perhaps) hopefully it gets the ok, the page will have links to the blogs eventually along with nostalgia pict

Growing a retro collection of epicness

Well shoot now we are working on multiple articles at the one time. while we are finishing up our top 10 Mario kart tracks from SNES to Wii I have been avidly scouring the world wide web via e-bay and the likes for retro-ness on any scale. Admittedly at present my retro collection is small, quaint if you will, it really only consists of the following consoles: Super Nintendo Nintendo 64 Nintendo Gamecube Playstation 2 For each console I own a substantial amount of games, most not with boxes which is a shame really. The idea for me grew organically when I started writing about retro games the idea was based on me playing some emulators and bringing back great memories of yesteryear and sharing them with fellow enthusiast's and readers but I feel I need more now and to be frank am not sure of the best way to go about it, I do have a good idea of how to go about it but would extend this invitation to anyone reading to give me advice, and also tips on how to grow my collec

Grand Theft Auto - the complete series ranked

Following on from our last slice of Los Santos we look further back into the murky depths of Rockstar and the Grand Theft Auto franchise and see if we can do the title justice and respect by ranking them. Call me a copy cat all you want as I have no doubt this has been done before (I recently read one on kotaku.com) and I have to say I was not impressed what so ever with how they laid it out. Spoiler alert they had GTA V as number uno. will we have the same.....read on and find out. Alot the of the current chatter pre and post E3 has been around GTA 6 and leaks and what we want and expect to see, probably this has been the catalyst to make my list. GTA has changed substantially over the years since a couple of dudes put the first concepts together in Dundee, being from Scotland myself I am very proud that the origins of one of the best game francizes in history came from my homeland. despite the obvious changes over the years everything always seems very tied together, a very cl

Straight to the Point......and click part 1

After a small hiatus from the blog we returned with our thoughts on something more modern with GTA V and its impending casino dlc, if Rockstar are to believed then i think this gamer will definitely take his Eleghy RH8 custom for a few spins around Los Santos for a few months more at least. I think the blog is going well i continue to have great ideas about what to write but struggle to find the time to commit to a schedule. The page has had nearly 6k views and the blogs don't seem to be doing to bad despite the lack of followers to the page itself. I have recently set up a Instagram page http://www.instagram.com/ragequiteretro  for the blog and a Pinterest page so i can share some of my favourite shots of games past and present, and as always i still have the page linked to my twitter  i use for my twitch, twitter.com/silverwarrior82 feel free to look me up and follow if you wish. Before i dip into the topic of the day i thought i would say a few things about myself, hopefully

will the last one leaving Los Santos please turn off the lights!

Seems some what strange to include up to date content in a blog that look at the past, but hey I am a modern day gamer who just so happens to have a passion for the retro.  E3 came and went. all in all the event was a success, despite the Sony no show, we were treated to an appearance from the man himself Keanu via what I think is going to be the game of the year 2020 in Cyberpunk, and well the less said about Dr Disrespects IRL toilet antics the better (never trusted anyone who wears sunglasses indoors) hopefully this was an error of judgement on his part and he's back doing what he does best soon. Now the theme is set of more modern stuff today I want to talk about good old Los Santos, Rockstar and GTA 5, damn game has been out that long there is a case for it almost being retro. I will admit in its day absolutely awesome and I look forward to spending my retirement in 30 years time when GTA 6 finally gets released. I took some time the other day and thought "ok lets
